I LOVE THIS PHOTO!!!! On the left is Donald Hall, former NH and US poet laureate and my favorite author, and on the right is Papa, my grandfather. This was taken at Old Home Day in Wilmot, though Mom and I aren't exactly sure what year it was taken. Papa and Donald Hall grew up together in Danbury and Donald Hall has talked about Papa, and my great grandparents, in his books. They have stayed friendly all these years and I love that I have a photo of the two of them together. Mom just sent it to me and it is now one of my most prized possessions.
