My mom came up to Wanakee a couple of times this summer and she and Eloise became buddies (I think it helped that Mom brought M&Ms every time she came). Eloise is a sweetheart and it did my mom's heart good every time Eloise was happy to see her or asked for her. Here they are reading books in front of the farmhouse.
