I spent a few days last week in Boston, getting a little dose of culture outside the mecca of Epping, NH. It is always fun to go down and hang out with Rosemary and Karen and this trip was no exception. Rosemary and I went to the JFK Museum, which I absolutely love. As some of you know, I've been a JFK fan for as long as I can remember and was particularly infatuated with him in middle school and high school when my political aspirations were in full swing. I remember going to the museum at one point in high school (I think maybe my dad took me down...), but I honestly remembered very little of the museum, except for the architecture and the fact that I loved it - I just didn't have very many details about it still in my head. So it was great to go back now and experience the museum again. It is incredibly well done and just so beautiful.

It was a picture-perfect day in Boston and the museum is in a beautiful location out on the point in Boston. I love the architecture of the building, particularly this dramatic part of it that is all covered in glass. All in all, a wonderful trip to the JFK Museum - Rosemary, thanks for taking me!

The highlight of my trip to Boston was meeting little Sierra Piche Nicholas. Sierra is the 6 week old daughter of my friend Nicole and her husband Joshua. Nicole and I have been friends since the beginning of first grade and we stayed friends even after her family moved to Massachusetts in 2nd grade. Nicole is definitely the keeper of lots of my childhood memories and I love that we are still friends. It was wonderful to meet Sierra and to see Nicole being such a fabulous mother. Sierra is beautiful and I had a great time cuddling with her all day.
