This is my apartment building. I am on the 4th floor, but my windows are the 3rd ones up you can see. It is a beautiful, sunny day in Miraflores (the neighborhood I live in), which is pretty rare for this time of year. Our weather has been pretty yucky lately - cold and rainy. But I have to remember that this is winter and this is basically as bad as it gets. I love that I won't see snow until I am home at Christmas. I could definitely get used to this weather.
I went out to lunch this afternoon with my friend Jen, which was lovely. There are a couple of great restaurants right around the corner from my apartment. It is very nice and convient. After lunch, I decided to walk around a bit and take some pictures to share with everyone. This church is 2 blocks from my apartment and I think it is really pretty. I haven't been inside yet, but I hear it is very nice.
One of the things I love best about Miraflores is all the beautiful houses and courtyards interspersed with the less attractive apartment buildings. My own building isn't anything spectaular in terms of architecture, but this beautiful little courtyard is 2 doors down from me. And I love that even in the middle of winter, there are flowers out all over the place.
