What an amazing day! I luckily didn't have to teach at noon, so Christine (the choir teacher) and I headed to the school library to watch the inauguration. I have never been so excited! Watching Barack Obama be sworn in as President of the United States was an incredible moment, one I will remember for the rest of my life. It was inspiring, moving, and hopeful. A new day has dawned for our country and I am looking forward to what our future together will bring. Hope and change are good things!

Hi MIchelle! I couldn't agree more - hope and change are good things! Jon and I watched the inauguration from Kaliningrad and had big smiles on our faces as Obama was sworn in.
