Winter has arrived in Lima. The last few weeks it has been getting cool at night, but the days were still sunny and warm. Yesterday all of that changed. It was cloudy, grey and cool all day long, in fact, I think it got colder as the day progressed. So, while those of you in the States were enjoying a beautiful, warm Memorial Day, we were experiencing our first true day of winter. I'm currently bundled up in a sweater and jacket and contemplating putting on my scarf. It is amazing how quickly my body forgets how to deal with winter! Luckily I only have to put up with winter for a few weeks, then I'll be home to enjoy NH summer.
